Shannon Denise was born in Detroit, MI, and raised between Detroit and Southern California by her mother, grandparents, and father. She has four children of her own: one girl, Amani, and three boys, Corey, Journey, and Cody. She also has three bonus children in love, Samuel, Megan, and Zoe (The Beebe Bunch) through her incredible husband, Matthew. Shannon has strong beliefs in legacy, which was one of the drivers to republish her grandfather’s work. She enjoys learning new things and hopes to inspire others to learn, pursue and continue their family legacies. She also enjoys traveling with her family, especially near the water. She’s been passionate about writing and reading books since childhood, along with recording music. Shannon relates to this story because she can recall times when she didn’t prepare herself for the season ahead, both naturally and spiritually. She hopes this will inspire many to prepare, and always help someone else without expecting anything in return.
